The eve of Christmas eve (dec 23rd)

our project dinner. rushing back from ang mo kio back to city to join the others. right in time to see somebody dropped her laptop. huehehehehe…. nice dinner plus a drinking session. went back quite late for weekdays.

Christmas Eve

we are all on half day, and based on a last minute arrangement, i should be going back to office instead of to client’s place. after that drinking session the night before, i was overslept. my colleague was downstairs to pick me up already, while i was just wake up! noooo!! usually she’s ms. late, not me! made her wait for about 5 mins and made her see my skill : do make up in the car! hehehe….

stupid things happened at the wrong time….after the incident of the laptop dropped the night before….it crashed! it took her 50 bucks and one whole day to recover most of the data. she was pretty upset about it. 

i came back to office at the right time though, as they were having a little celebration, with a cake and a bottle of wine. not bad at all. and yes, i like the pressie, thanks!!  :)

Went for a walk in orchard road. As crazy as last year, full of people acting wierd, and the snow spray made it quite happening but very messy. Went to midnight church. it was really quiet compare to last year, the seats are not even full! 

Christmas Day

went to morning church, saw someone quite eye catching. thinking to tell him about that or not . Then went to see a couple from malaysia. the girl is working here, the guy is my colleague from KL office. he started a new hobby : photography, so he asked me to join them for a walk in botanic garden and orchard road. Orchard road was really madness!! people are everywhere, and it was no longer vehicle jam, it was human jam!!! that was singapore magic, anything can be sold and attrack a huge number of crowds!!!

when everyone will be gone for holiday, i will be starting a short project starting tomorrow. location is okay, very near to my place. network is very bad….we can only connect to gmail. we’ll see if i can work around this. cannot work isolated like this. i need to contact my colleagues and bosses. found a few ways to try tomorrow. we’ll see…..i hope i am smarter than their firewalls.

last day in office…i am freezing. we are like fresh raw meat in the fridge!! 2 people in a meeting room make the room feels so cooold. a reason to go out on a  long lunch?? haha…dun think so, it’s just a habit when we’re in office errr…lunch and windows shopping and groceries shopping.
christmas is coming…..all i want for x’mas is…..well, a lot! hahaha, still the same things as last year i guess….just with many additions, including those i can’t have, like that little puppy in vivo pet shop!! he’s so cute…looking at me with the big eyes, wag his tail and try to kiss me…. i’ll see u again this weekend little puppy, i’ll visit you again
note to myself :

need to visit a dentist before year end. need to look for a nice dentist, used to avoid one coz she’s not friendly at all. 

and some more notes…..but i can’t take it anymore….it’s freezing. going out for a short walk….

i am not talking about a normal ladies fashion shopping. this one is different.

last friday, our client took us out for lunch, then grocery shopping for christmas. yes, groceries!! she took us to a very “ulu” industrial area! not a nice area for shopping (my colleague even said “even birds won’t lay eggs here”), but the shopping was exciting. she really knows about quality stuff and got a very good bargain for it.

here’s some stuff she bought : frozen ribs, frozen black pork, marinated pork, prawns, chicken, bread, cheese, sausages. and guess what…..the booth of her car is full!

as for me….of course : gouda and smoked dutch cheese! quite cheap but very good quality, so yummyyyyy!! 

now i really really really desperately want my own place where i can cook!! now i know where to get good quality stuff with good bargain. me? cook? yeah!! don’t underestimate me! i can really cook and bake cakes!!

strange - i was stunned for a few seconds as i saw something unexpected. was that him? what is he doing here? he’s supposed to be somewhere very far from here. was that really him or my eyes are trying to be funny with me. anyway, if that was him, he didn’t see me, so never mind, i’ll just forget it.

fancy - my boss got a new bmw 5 series! a super nice car, so spacious, so comfy. he drove us last saturday and this afternoon. i i tried both front and back seat. when sitting at the back seat, the sound system sonds very nice. sitting in front, so spacious and comfy. and since it’s a new car, he learns how to use a seat belt!! hahaha

funny - i’ve been dreaming about the same thing for the past few nights. now i am starting to think that it was nothing but my deepest darkest fantasy below my conscious mind

some updates from the weekend :

went to it show and bought my 1 TB HDD.

watched the origin - asia on the edge opening night on friday.

went out after karrin’s wedding dinner on saturday evening.

watched zirkus on ice on sunday.

next weekend : ben and jerry’s feast, asia on the edge closing night.

thanksgiving day, nov 27th, 2009.

a lot of things to be thanked for, specially for being here, enjoying whatever life can give me. 

love the holiday season, lots of things to see out there. my weekend starts from tonight all the way to sunday. in fact, my weekend is busier than my weekday. 

well, the bad news is…..gotta work this saturday morning. migration time plus data verification. it’s really a wrong weekend, too much things happening at one shot, some things must be left asside, i can’t be at a few places at the same time (i wish i can….if i really can, this saturday evening i’ll be in vivo city, boat quay and grand hyatt at the same time!!)

i think i know what is wrong….my stupid flu medicines!! plus the stupid weather…today is really really damn hot, giving me a headache. oh…please!! i can’t be sick this weekend! my weekend starts from tomorrow…..need to pick up my 1 TB HDD….yay! excited! finally! can’t miss the opening night of asia on the edge on friday night, cut over and migration on saturday morning, and a wedding dinner on saturday evening….busy weekend! why did they choose to go live at year end???
…and juz read about BKK…what happened there? sigh….so lucky we didn’t go. me and a bunch of friends were talking about a year end holiday to thailand. well, lady luck was still with us

can’t really sleep tonite. trying to sleep since 11 pm last nite, finally give up and wake up at 7 this morning. out of my habit. feels like something is wrong, but what is it? the stupid weather that has been going on for a couple of days? project that will go live in 4 days? dun think so… then whaaat?? huh, better try to sleep for 2 more hours………

when late is not late….

i love it, been in this life for a few months already. i can wake up late, but still have time for a lot of things, cleaning up my room, do my laundry, feeding my virtual puppy…hehehe  but dunno when this kind of life will be over. i know the project will be over in 3 weeks time, but don’t know what’s next. most probably another project near my home….about 10 mins away! yaay!!

when work is not really work….

meaning i am in a project called project holiday. juz playing games, reading e-books, listening to musics or anything to entertain myself. if anyone ever heard that somebody died coz they’re just too bored….maybe i’ll be the one.

when people talk and it sounds like a nonsense…..

think about it for a while, it maybe true, just like my silly friends said:

* “depend on myself, buy my own house, get my own bunnies”…….. true, i learned not to depend on anyone, try to save more for my own place. bunnies….hmmm, it’s personal preference, i prefer puppies, but again, i won’t have them. i don’t want them to be alone when i am busy, those babies will not be happy when i am not around to play with them.

* “i like being in a relationship with a girl who travel a lot, i know i am in a relationship, but still have my freedom. i wish my wife is a stewardess” …..waahahahahahaha…..silly and sounds wierd when i heard this for the first time, but somehow it does make sense. giving each other time and space on their own is a good thing.

when weekends are busier time than weekdays….

meaning i am enjoying my life! just like these few coming weeks, with christmas is just around the corner. i am going out to take photos, window shopping, watching ice skating show in central, and christmas parties

when we are all toghether for a house party….

alcoholwas served unlimited all night, they mixed my green tea with some liquour i can’t recognize. i have bad sore throat after that one night!!! somehow that drink made me thirsty and keep drinking.

when lunch is an unlimited time…..

we go to a car showroom for a test drive!! or a double lunch!

come late as usual, get bored coz nothing to do….(as usual also)….

going home at 2pm!! hahahaha…. hmmm…..thinking to go home, get some nap and later go out for dinner in the evening if the weather is good.

woodstock is the little yellow bird who always follows snoopy everywhere. charlie brown, snoopy, woodstock, lucille and pepermint patty are the character in peanut comics.

snuffle, big bird, ernie, bert, elmo, cookie monster and oscar who lives in the trash can are in sesame street.

doc, dopey, sneezy, sleepy, grumpy, happy, bashful are the seven dwarfs in snow white. 

the chipmunks are alvin, simon, theodore.

the pink one in happy tree friends is giggles.

mickey and minnie mouse are the everlasting lovers, live together happily with their dog pluto; donald duck always mess around with them. 

winnie the pooh lives in a hundred acre woods. 

what am i doing here? i am just too free in office hour and got bored and extremely sleepy. and why would you read this post anyway? hehehehe….
